Why do we choose crawler dump truck instead of wheeled dump truck?

The crawler dump truck is a special type of field tipper that uses rubber tracks rather than wheels. Tracked dump trucks have more features and better traction than wheeled dump trucks. Rubber treads on which the machine’s weight may be uniformly distributed give the dump truck stability and safety when going over hilly terrain. This means that, particularly in locations where the environment is sensitive, you can utilize crawler dump trucks on a variety of surfaces. At the same time, they may transport a variety of attachments, including personnel carriers, air compressors, scissor lifts, excavator derricks, drilling rigs, cement mixers, welders, lubricators, fire fighting gear, customized dump truck bodies, and welders.

Morooka’s full-rotation models are particularly popular with our customers.  By enabling the upper structure of the carrier to rotate a full 360 degrees, these rotary models minimize disruption to worksite surfaces, while also reducing wear and tear to the carrier.

Crawler dump trucks require certain important maintenance procedures.

1. After use, it needs to be parked in a place with plenty of space before the carriage is set down. Furthermore, it’s crucial to remember that parking on a slope can not only cause vehicles to slide but also damage to the track.

2. To prevent aberrant transmission, we need regularly remove the dirt in the track’s centre. It is simple to make the track unable to function normally since, particularly in the general building site back, some mud or weeds frequently twisted in the track.

3. Regularly check the track for looseness and adjust the tension.

4. Regular inspections should be performed on other components as well, including the power engine, gearbox, oil tank, etc.
